Piece of Cake Pop Up Weddings in conjunction with IPUWA would like to formally announce the launch of (IPUWA) International PopUp Wedding Association http://www.IPUWA.com.
IPUWA, the first of its kind has been established to create an association of PopUp Wedding & Event Professionals throughout the world, and provide ideas, advice and resources for couples who want a unique and fun small wedding celebration. Piece of Cake Pop Up Weddings will coordinate our very 1st PopUp Wedding Ceremony on 12/31/14. Piece of Cake Pop Up Weddings will coordinate fun and fancy intimate weddings that will pop up at different Central Florida locations. I’ve pasted a press release with additional details, and I can provide more information and photos, and arrange interviews, if necessary.
We would like to offer media outlets the chance to attend and cover our Pop Up Wedding on 12/31/14. Piece of Cake Pop Up Wedding is not the only company participating in this initiative. There will be IPUWA members in 24 different cities in the United States and 7 destinations around the world who will be participating in this initiative. I will follow up with you in a few days to see if you might want to attend. Thanks very much!

For Immediate Release
IPUWA™ launches new same sex wedding service.
The International PopUp Wedding Association (IPUWA™) has been established to create an association of PopUp Event Professionals throughout the world. IPUWA will establish a standard of credibility, code of conduct, education, and benchmark for the PopUp Wedding Industry. Our goal is to provide engaged couples alternatives to courthouse weddings and elopements by providing ideas, advice and vendor resources across the United States and destinations worldwide.
As more State’s Circuit Courts begin to rule in favor of marriage equality, we have seen more LGBT couples heading to the courthouse to get married. A PopUp Wedding by a IPUWA member is an affordable option for any engaged couple that desires a smaller elegant wedding or a lavish and fun elopement, but doesn’t want to sacrifice their style or personality. We have established members of IPUWA that same sex couples can turn to for a PopUp Wedding as an alternative to the courthouse wedding or the traditional wedding, without the hefty price tag.
The PopUp Wedding planning process is hassle free as most of the wedding details such as locations, photographer, minister, flowers, décor and other details are pre-designed. All the couple has to do is come dressed; bring a marriage license and a few friends to witness their day.
The first IPUWA™ sponsored event will be held on 12-13-14 with celebrations on New Year’s Eve, and Valentine’s Day and throughout the year.
For same sex couples the available locations currently are in Arizona, California, Florida, New Mexico, Illinois, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, and more locations to come.
IPUWA is a collaborative effort of wedding and event professionals across the United States. More information about the association, along with upcoming PopUp Wedding dates and locations can be found at the IPUWA website http://www.ipuwa.com
