You should hire a wedding planner! I promise you this post is not to convince you to hire me (if you do you wouldn’t be disappointed though LOL). This post is simply to give you 3 reasons to hire a wedding planner and the benefits that come with them. I’ve met so many couples that continually saying they don’t need one…until after the wedding!

1. We know people!
Yes, we know other vendors that provide the services you need. We know who has the best rates and does the best work. We know where to go when you want jerk chicken served, or when you want a woman DJ. We know the people that are in your budget so you don’t have to waste time being a price shopper. Our people knowledge is expansive and will save you a lot of time! All wedding planners deal with other vendors on a daily basis so when you hire us, we can show you who else on the team you should hire. Oh and don’t believe the stories that we are all getting kickbacks, when we have relationships with some vendors we’re actually able to get you a discount.

2. We’ve done this numerous times!
We have been doing this for years and are professionals. Wouldn’t you hire a plumber if you toilet was not working? Hiring a wedding planner is giving you the peace of mind that you have a professional working for you. We can tell you about all the items you might not think of, like including your chairs in the final count (we can’t tell you how many couples forget to include themselves!). We bring the knowledge of budgets, timelines and so much more. Hiring a planner not only saves you time it saves you the stress of learning a new position.

3. We deal with the majority of the stress!
Planning a wedding is stressful, seating charts are stressful, tracking down guests to RSVP is stressful so why not hire a wedding planner to assist with it. As a wedding planner we take away the majority of your stress(I will never say we take it all away because the process itself can be stressful). Who doesn’t want someone in their corner that they can hand off the majority of the tasks on a wedding planning to-do list. We are also there on your wedding day to calm your nerves and take care of all the behind the scenes work so you don’t have to think of it. Why wouldn’t you want that?

After all that why wouldn’t you want to hire a wedding planner? Don’t automatically think because of the reasons above and the hours we spend working on a wedding that you cannot afford us. You will be surprised at how cost effective a wedding planner is when you consider what we do and what we save you from doing!

“My venue has a coordinator already, why do I need you?” As day of wedding coordinators in Orlando we have heard this question numerous times. We can not stress enough that there is a difference and if you do not hire a wedding coordinator you will see the difference. Below are some ways wedding and venue coordinators differ.

Your venue coordinator works for the venue not YOU! On your wedding day your venue coordinator will be there to open the venue and make sure that the venue is taken care. The venue coordinator composes the contract between you and the venue and they ensure you and your hired vendors follow it. Most venue coordinators will be seen at the beginning of the wedding and are usually gone once the reception begins.

Your day of wedding coordinator, at least here at Young Love Events, is there to work for YOU! We start working with you 4-6 weeks before your wedding day and will take care of any issues that arise on your big day. We coordinate the rehearsal and make sure when the ceremony time comes that everyone is in place and knows when it’s their go time. We make sure your other hired vendors are performing the duties you’ve hired them for and we’re there to place your personal items. Our day of wedding coordinators at Young Love Events will be with you until you make your grand exit.

Don’t make the mistake of not hiring a day of wedding coordinator. Don’t put the pressure on mom or aunt to be the one to take care of the day of details, we are specialists in this area so leave it to us! Remember your venue coordinator is not there to serve you on your day they are there to serve the venue.
